The NSFT Poulsson prize for 2024 will be awarded within the field of human- and environmental/ecotoxicology
-and the deadline for nominations is June 1st. All members of NSFT are allowed to nominate. Candidates can be suggested by sending an email to nsft@nsft2.no, including a description why the candidate qualifies for this prize.
Hvert år deler Norsk Selskap for Farmakologi og Toksikologi (NSFT) ut Poulsson-prisen til minne om den norske farmakologen Poul Edvard Poulsson (1858-1935). Denne prisen er en langvarig tradisjon hos NSFT som startet i 1970, og den tildeles en kollega for hans eller hennes bidrag til den vitenskapelige utviklingen innen farmakologi eller toksikologi. Blant kriteriene er også spesifikt at prisvinneren har vært en inspirator for norske forskere innen disse feltene. I år (2024) tildeles Poulsson-prisen til en toksikolog, og vi ønsker nominasjoner av deres kolleger innenfor feltene human- og øko-/miljøtoksikologi innen den 1.juni. Every year Norwegian Society of pharmacology and Toxicology (NSFT) gives out the Poulsson-prize in memory of the Norwegian pharmacologist Poul Edvard Poulsson (1858-1935). This Award is a longstanding tradition of NSFT that started in 1970 and has been given to a colleague for his or her contributions to the scientific development in the fields of pharmacology or toxicology. Among the criteria is also specifically that the awardee has been an inspirator for Norwegian scientists in these fields. This year (2024), the Poulsson Prize is awarded to a toxicologist, and we welcome nominations of your colleagues within the fields of human- and environmental/ecotoxicology by June 1st.
